Terms & Conditions – The Rough Crew™

By enrolling in courses or booking a session at The Rough Crew™, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all online courses, individual consulting sessions (e.g., “Animation Power Hour”), and digital content provided by The Rough Crew™.
2. Enrollment & Booking
- Courses: Enrollment is completed via application and approval to ensure quality.
- One-Time Sessions: Booking is finalized upon full payment. Slots are subject to availability.
- Acceptance is at the discretion of The Rough Crew™.
3. Payments
- Payments are processed via PayPal, including credit card or direct debit.
- Course fees are due upon registration or as a recurring subscription.
- Single Session fees (Power Hour) are due upfront at the time of booking.
- All fees are final; the service is exempt from VAT under §19 UStG.
4. Refund Policy & Right of Withdrawal
- 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: For long-term courses, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided no more than two (2) live sessions have been attended.
- Single Sessions (Power Hour): According to EU law, the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed. By booking a session for a specific date, you agree that the service may begin before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose your right to a refund once the session is completed.
- Cancellations: If you cancel a Single Session less than 24 hours before the appointment, the fee is non-refundable.
5. Subscriptions & Duration (Main Course)
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access remains until the end of the paid period.
- No automatic refund for unused sessions within a subscription period.
6. Course Content & Feedback
- Submissions: Students must submit work via the designated platform no later than the communicated deadline.
- Late Submissions: If no files are submitted by the deadline, the instructor reserves the right to cancel the review. The session is still considered “delivered” and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Ownership: Students retain ownership of their submitted work. Feedback recordings and revised files provided by The Rough Crew™ are for personal, educational use only and may not be redistributed.
7. Technical Requirements
Students are responsible for a stable internet connection and required software. The Rough Crew™ is not liable for technical issues on the student’s side.
8. User Conduct
Disruptive, illegal, or offensive behavior will result in immediate removal from the course or session without a refund.
9. Liability
The Rough Crew™ is not liable for damages except in cases of gross negligence or intent. Participation is at your own risk.
10. Intellectual Property
All instructional materials and recordings are copyrighted by The Rough Crew™. Redistribution is prohibited.
11. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you consent to data processing for the purpose of delivering the service.
12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
German law applies. Courts in Germany have exclusive jurisdiction.
