Your instructor
Hi, I’m Eyal! I’m a Germany-based 2D character animator and storyteller dedicated to the art of hand-drawn performance.
My approach was deeply shaped by studying under Sasha Dorogov, where I mastered the principles of classic Disney animation and learned how to bring characters to life with genuine emotion and personality.
In 2024, I was honored to receive the first prize for the Andreas Deja Scholarship, further inspiring my focus on classical hand-drawn techniques and the principles of the Nine Old Men.
Throughout my career, I’ve served as a Lead Animator and Media Producer. My academic journey includes time at Gobelins Paris, alongside a deep commitment to the mentorship-driven traditions of the masters. I founded The Rough Crew to share these timeless techniques with you.
